What's New
The following new features and enhancements were last updated on April 08, 2024
We’ve added a Delete Settings button to your Email DMARC DNS Settings Page. To access this button, go to Site, Settings, Content, Email Settings, DMARC DNS Setup. The button appears only after you enter your domain. With this feature, you can easily self-serve without experiencing reduced downtime.
As part of our commitment to continuous improvements, we’re planning an upcoming enhancement to improve the reliability of Blackbaud ID, while also creating an easier, more intuitive sign-in page that puts your brand at the center of the user experience.
These improvements are not expected to significantly affect the daily sign-in workflow. Users who use BBID to log in to Award & Stewardship Management will experience the following changes in April:
-
Users who land on the Blackbaud ID sign-in page will see an improved look. If you’ve updated your BBID branding to add your institution’s logo, you’ll see it placed more prominently and centrally on the page.
-
Users who sign in with a Blackbaud ID email and password who also have multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled via Blackbaud ID will be prompted to recreate a new MFA connection. The options and steps to set up MFA remain unchanged. See our BBID MFA documentation for additional details.
-
Users who log in with a “social sign-in,” such as Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, will be prompted to reauthorize Blackbaud to access their name and email. (Google and Apple manage the sign-in steps between the Blackbaud ID sign in page and the point when the user lands in Education Management again.)
Those who log in to Award and Stewardship Management via single sign-on (SSO) are unaffected by this change; their login workflow through their Award & Stewardship Management sites will not change.
