Academic Profile Schedule Tab

Note: This help topic covers the new 360 User Profile, which is being released to schools in waves starting in late March 2023. It displays in Academics when you select a student or alumnus via a list or by searching for their name in the People finder. The new profile contains the same features and capabilities as the older Academic Profile, but arranged under new tab headings in a more accessible format.

On the Schedule tab of a student profile, you can see the student's enrollment for the selected academic year. Select the name of a course to go to that course's Bulletin Board. Select the name of a Head teacher to go to that teacher's contact card.

The schedule can display in either a list view or a calendar view. Select the list or calendar icon to switch views.

To modify which details display on the Schedule tab in list view:

  1. Select Columns.

  2. Select or clear the names of column headers.

  3. Select Apply changes.

To sort by one of the columns on the Schedule tab, select a column header. Select again to toggle between ascending and descending order.

To filter the student's schedule in list view, select Filter. You can filter by Group type, School level, Term, or Status. By default the schedule displays courses with the status Enrolled.

Note: The Term filter allows you to select multiple terms.

To edit a student's enrollment while in list view or calendar view:

  1. Select Edit enrollment. This launches the Edit student enrollment modal.

  2. Select whether you are editing a student's Academics, Advisory, Athletics, or Activities enrollment. Review any existing course requests for the student. A variety of symbols indicate the student's current enrollment, scheduling conflicts, and other data. Select View legend to review the symbol definitions.

    • To remove a course request, select the context menu (...) beside it. Select Error to remove a request that was added in error, select Drop to drop a student request, or select Transfer to keep the request and move the student to a different section. Select Delete to remove the request and any record of the request.

    • To add a request, select + Add request, then search for the course name and select it.

    • To change the order in which requests display on this page, select Sort and choose Courses (Ascending), Courses (Descending), Course preference (first - last), or Block (schedule order). You can also change the display of the Requested courses column by selecting Settings.

  3. To add classes to the student's schedule, select + Find a section.

    • Find the course and section in which you would like to enroll the student. If necessary, narrow down the displayed courses using the menu options under Starting in, With a department, With a grade level, Taught by, and In block. Select the section name or number to see details including the target size and current size of the class.

    • Select the checkbox next to the appropriate classes.

    • Select Enroll.

  4. You have two options to save your enrollments:

    • Select Save to save your changes and remain on the page.

    • Select Save and close to return to the student's 360 Profile.

You can run a report for a student's schedule on a specific date or for a day in a rotating schedule. Open the Reports menu and select a report name to open reporting options in a new browser tab.

School employees can access and edit different parts of a student profile depending on their assigned Roles and the school's settings. Roles can be modified and assigned to users in Core. Users with the following Roles can access the Schedule tab, including the Calendar view and Reports:

  • Attendance Manager

  • Award Manager

  • Comments Manager

  • Conduct Manager

  • Grading Manager

  • Learning Profile Manager

  • Online Signup Manager

  • Schedule Manager

  • Diploma Manager

  • Advisor

  • Nurse

  • Billing Clerk

Users with the following Roles can Edit enrollment:

  • Academic Group Manager

  • Schedule Manager
