Blackbaud Checkout

Note: Any DIY forms published before August 11, 2012 will need to be re-published in order for Blackbaud Checkout to appear.

You can create and publish your own Do It Yourself (DIY) Form to use for online giving, event registrations, membership, and more. Some DIY forms incorporate Blackbaud Checkout for all Blackbaud Payment Service transaction processors or gateways except IATS.

You can select Blackbaud Payment Service transaction processors in the Transaction Processor field when you create or edit DIY forms. For more information, see Create an online form.

The eStore (Cart) module allows you to directly manage the content of your eStore webpages from eTapestry so you can sell items on your website directly to your constituents and integrate the payment information with your database. eStore (Cart) incorporates Blackbaud Checkout for all Blackbaud Payment Service transaction processors or gateways except IATS.

You can select Blackbaud Payment Service transaction processors in the Transaction Processor field when you set your eStore preferences. For more information, see Set eStore Preferences.

Tip: Users in the US can now accept PayPal and Venmo payments through the PayPal payment processing gateway. For more information, see Blackbaud Checkout: PayPal and Venmo.

With Blackbaud Checkout, donors can also access payment methods to give without their credit card present at the time of the payment and provide a fast and effortless checkout experience. Click to Pay, PayPal, Venmo, and Apple Pay are supported and display Blackbaud Merchant Services (BBMS) if your merchant account is enrolled with the payment provider.

Note: You will need to troubleshoot or reconcile transactions through your wallet provider. Transaction information is not available in the Blackbaud Merchant Services web portal.

Note: Wallet options in Blackbaud Checkout are not supported for recurring gifts.
