Logging in with Blackbaud ID (BBID)

You will use Blackbaud ID (BBID) as your login for Blackbaud Financial Aid Management. BBID provides a secure sign in experience and enables users to access Blackbaud's suite of K-12 education management solutions, including Financial Aid Management and Tuition Management, with a single email address and password. When signing into Financial Aid Management, you can use your existing BBID or create a new BBID if needed.

Warning: Because financial information is especially sensitive, take extra care to keep your login information secure. Do not send your password to anyone by email, instant message, or other forms of non-secure communication. Do not use the same password for multiple websites. If you believe your password is compromised, contact Blackbaud Financial Aid Management and select a new password as soon as possible.

On the Financial Aid Management login page, select Create account. You will land on the Blackbaud ID Sign up page.

Enter the required information and follow the instructions on the screen to create your BBID account. Once you select Sign up, we'll send you a verification email with a code to confirm your account. Once you enter the code, you'll be signed into Financial Aid Management. Your new BBID and new Financial Aid Management accounts are linked.

Warning: Your confirmation email will expire in 24 hours so please confirm your email as soon as possible.

Going forward, enter your email address on the Financial Aid Management login page and you'll be prompted to sign in with Blackbaud ID.

Tip: Social Sign In: When you create your Blackbaud ID, you can authenticate through a social sign-in, which is a form of single sign-on that uses your credentials from a social networking service, such as Apple or Google, to sign into your Blackbaud ID. This avoids the need to create new login credentials for your Blackbaud ID and uses your social sign-in account for authentication requirements, password resets, and other support needs. If you want to use social sign-in, select Sign up with Google or Sign up with Apple.

On the Financial Aid Management login page, enter your username and password. You'll receive a message explaining that your username is being converted to Blackbaud ID.

Tip: If you already have an existing BBID, select Already have a Blackbaud ID account? and sign in with your BBID.

If you do not have a BBID, select Continue and you'll land on the Blackbaud ID Sign up page. Enter the required information and follow the instructions on the screen to create your BBID. Once you select Sign up, we'll send you a verification email with a code to confirm your account. Once you enter the code, you'll be signed into Blackbaud Financial Aid Management and land on your Home page.

The next time you sign in, enter your Blackbaud ID email address on the Financial Aid Management login page and you'll be prompted to sign in with Blackbaud ID.

If you sign in with your Blackbaud ID on the Financial Aid Management login page and your BBID is not already linked to a Financial Aid Management user, you will be prompted to enter a username and password for your Financial Aid Management account.

  • If you have a Financial Aid Management account, enter the username and password and click Continue. Then confirm the link between your Blackbaud ID and Financial Aid Management accounts. Your accounts are now linked and you'll sign in with your Blackbaud ID.

  • If you don't have a Financial Aid Management account, select I don't have a Blackbaud Financial Aid Management account to create one using your Blackbaud ID email address. Once created, the accounts are linked and you will sign in with your Blackbaud ID.

That's okay! If you don't have a Blackbaud ID yet, just enter your username or email address on the Financial Aid Management login page and select Go. Select Forgot password? and follow the prompts to set a new one.

If you have a BBID account, follow the steps under I already have a Blackbaud ID. On the Link your accounts page, select Forgot password? and set a new Financial Aid Management password. Once you have done this, enter in your Blackbaud Financial Aid Management login credentials with the new password and select Link your accounts.

  • If you forgot your Blackbaud ID password, go to https://app.blackbaud.com/signin/forgot-password, enter your email address associated with your Blackbaud ID, then select Send. Check your inbox for a password reset email and follow the instructions to reset your password. If you don't receive the password reset email, check your Junk folder.

  • If you sign in through Apple or Google, change your password through Apple or Google.

  • If your organization enables single sign-on (SSO) through an identity provider (IdP), contact your IT admin to change your password.
