Donation Form Designations

Designations give donors opportunity to show their support for a special cause or financial purpose, such as a specific campaign. For more information, see Funds.

To change designation labels and sort order, under Form, select Click to edit on the designations field.

If more than one designation is chosen for the donation form, you can set the label to introduce the designations.

  1. Enter new label text and placeholder text.

  2. Select Done.

For organization's that use naming conventions for their designation names, such as GO2023 for the 2023 general operating designation, you can label them with donor-friendly names.

Note: This is only available when donors have more than one designation to choose from.

  1. Under Designation list, select Set labels and enter text that describes the designations to donors.

  2. Select Done.

By default, designations are alphabetized by their display name. To change their order, select Set order and them to the order you prefer.
