Create and Edit Social Posts
Start creating posts on Facebook and Twitter that engage your audience with your organization's message. Adding images to your content can help generate conversation and interest.
You can also control when your content goes live. You might want to post immediately to draw attention to current issues. Or you can conveniently schedule your content to be posted in the future if, for example, you have other fundraising efforts scheduled or you know you won't have access to social media in a given situation.
-
In Marketing, Social, select Create a post.
-
Under Posting as, select which social media account to use.
Note: Only the accounts that you have permission to use appear as options.
-
Enter text. You can also add links to other websites within your content, and a preview will display with the title, thumbnail logo, and description of the link.
Note: The logos displayed on link previews may vary slightly between Social Posting and how they appear on Facebook or Twitter.
-
Enhance your content by adding images with Add media. You can add up to 4 images in a single post.
Warning: Facebook supports the following image formats: JPEG, BMP, PNG (file size under 1MB), GIF, TIFF. Twitter supports images with a file size of 5MB or smaller.
