Merged Duplicates
Under Duplicate management, in the Merged duplicates list, you see the duplicate records you chose to merge and the current status of the merge.
-
Merge complete: The merge was completed successfully.
-
Merge in progress: The merge is currently running but has not been completed.
-
Merge pending: The merge is scheduled to run but has not yet started.
-
Error while merging: The merge was attempted but could not be completed.
To narrow the focus of the list, you can filter by merge status or date.
If a merge has a status of Error while merging, there could have been a temporary connection error during the merge. Select Retry merge from the menu to attempt the merge again.
Note: When duplicates are merged, the source records are marked as inactive but not deleted.
When you merge two duplicate records, they appear in the Merged duplicates list under Duplicate management. After the merge, source records are marked as inactive but not deleted. To clean up your data, you can delete successfully merged source records you no longer need.
