Collect impact statements

Your donors want to see the importance of their gifts, so show them with impact statements. Use impact statements to build connections between your donors and award recipients.

  • An impact statement is a collection of data points about an recipient—often related to the original awarding criteria

  • A recipient is someone benefiting from a donation (e.g., student, client, etc.)

  • An opportunity is essentially a survey—a way to collect and group impact statements related to a specific fund

  • A donor profile is a page providing additional information about your donors

Prerequisites
Tasks

  1. Set up donor profiles (optional): Provide information about your donors so recipients can tailor their thank-you letters. Make sure to link these profiles to related funds.

  2. Set up an opportunity: Set up a survey to request information from your recipients

  3. Import recipients: Add new records for recipients and impact statements

  4. Request impact statements (optional): Invite recipients into your system to complete impact statements

  5. Monitor impact statements (optional): Follow recipient progress from within your system
