Tip: Users and Admins has moved. We made improvements to user management for Blackbaud solutions, and you now view and manage all users in the Security section that is available in both Blackbaud solutions and in Admin.
Admin Tasks
After a new admin at your organization accepts your invitation, they have the power to manage and enable many features on behalf of your organization and for other users and admins associated with your organization.

Review admin tasks

Add other admins at your organization. For more information, see Add admin.

Manage anyone with access to your Blackbaud ID Supported Solutions. This includes inactivating users or admins, such as those no longer with your organization. For more information, see Make a user inactive and Make an admin inactive.

Make sure your list of active users and admins is current. To do this from the action bar, select Active only. For more information, see Filters.
Note: To avoid a security gap if you leave your organization, make sure you also have at least one additional, active organization admin.

Manage your organization’s account on Blackbaud’s website. This includes updating your organization’s address. For more information, see Home.

Update your organization's passwords for Blackbaud services, such as Blackbaud Payment Service (BBPS) and Blackbaud Merchant Services (BBMS). For more information, see Reset passwords.

Set up single sign-on (SSO). For more information, see Authentication.

Rename environments and select their purpose. For more information, see Environments.

Download the supervisor password reset utility for the organization’s software, if applicable.

Request and approve full backup copies of your database.
Blackbaud solution admins
Admins for Blackbaud solutions don't have access to Admin unless you invite them to be an organization admin. Likewise, you don't have access to solutions unless you're invited to them. If you are, you're associated with one or two more admin types with access to different features and tasks.

One solution -— If you're invited to be an admin for one solution, you have full access to that solution. This includes the ability to assign roles to other users and admins for that solution.

Multiple Blackbaud solutions -— If your organization has multiple Blackbaud solutions and you're invited to one of them, you only have full access to that one solution. If you're invited to all of them, you have full access to all solutions.
Note: Solution admins have the ability to assign roles to users for solutions. You can't do this in Admin as the organization admin.
