To extend the functionality of Raiser's Edge NXT and do more with your constituents and fundraising efforts, your organisation can use additional applications created by Blackbaud, providers in the Blackbaud Marketplace, someone at your organisation, or other approved external developers.
Environment admins only! To manage apps for your organisation, go to the Manage page in the Blackbaud Marketplace. You can view details about each application added, including the application publisher. To use an application, from the Browse page find and then select the application. On the application details page, select Connect. You can also manually sideload an application with its unique ID — acquired from the developer — on the Manage page.

Most applications will require additional steps to purchase, set up, and use. Before you connect applications from the Blackbaud Marketplace , contact the application publisher for more information. Only connect applications you're familiar with and authorise to access your organisation’s data.
When environment admins first connect an application, they authorise its access to your Blackbaud environment. However, it does not have access to your Raiser's Edge NXT data yet. To access your data, all application users must provide consent to use the Raiser's Edge NXT on their behalf. The application then respects the security rights of the consenting users.
To stop use of an application, or to prevent its access to your data, you can remove it from the Manage page in the Blackbaud Marketplace. Find the application on the page and select Disconnect.
